Doppler Speed Log & Current Indicator

Furuno current indicator use the Doppler effect; an ultrasonic signal emitted downward (surface current meter) or upward (submerged current meter) and returned by the particles contained in the water. The processing of the signals collected on the sensors makes it possible to calculate the speed components of the current.
