Black Box configuration
Flexible Black Box configuration (monitor not included in the supply) adaptable to different types of installation. Compatible with any XGA SXGA resolution monitor.
FAST TARGET TRACKING™ (ARPA)
Target tracking™ (ARPA) has been improved by significantly reducing target acquisition time. All the new FAR-15XX series nautical radars include advanced ARPA 50 functionality thanks to which the marine radar is able to lock on targets automatically in a very few moments.
TARGET ANALYZER™
FAR-1523BB is equipped with Target Analyzer™ function. Targets approaching your vessel change color if detected on a collision course turning red, while targets moving away or stationary are displayed in green*.

RADAR OVERLAY ON ECDIS AND MaxSea TIMEZERO
As with the FAR21x7 model, it is possible to overlay the radar echo and ARPA targets for the FAR-15X3 and FAR-15X8 models, both on the Furuno ECDIS and on the MaxSea navigation software (check compatible MaxSea versions). An ethernet connection between the two devices is sufficient.
TOUCH PAD AND MOUSE OPERATION
Thanks to the completely redesigned control unit with integrated touch pad, you can perform operations on the machine easier and faster.
Product advantages
FAR15X3 and 15X8 series professional radars. Both models in the black box version guarantee versatile installations on both fishing and work boats. The 15X8 series differs from the 15X3 in that it complies with IMO regulations.

The FAR1523 RADAR is a radar specially designed for the use of non-IMO professional ships with a power of 25Kw in X band.
2 radar antennas available: 6.5 feet or 8 feet

19 inch color with MU190 display
