FISHING OR SURVEY VESSELS

CI68 is able to identify direction and speed of the current on five different points of sea depth called strata or layers. Thanks to this information it is possible to predict the positioning of the fishing net and its movement. The CI68 is equipped with a triple beam transducer capable of providing very accurate measurement of current and speed through the water. Thanks to this device it is possible to contrast the effects of rolling, pitching and rising caused by the waves thanks to a precise and reliable datum. If you are in deep waters where it is not possible to detect the depth of the seabed, the data is calculated through the position and speed provided by the on-board GPS, while the direction data comes from the satellite compass or gyrocompass
