REAL TIME INFORMATION

DS60 is a IMO MSC.36(63 )compliant Doppler Sonar IMO MSC.36(63), MSC.96(72), A.694(17) and A.824(19) designated for units greater than or equal to 50,000 GT, capable of providing sensitive information on vessel mooring and docking operations. The 8.4-inch color LCD display provides alphanumeric and graphical data with three operating modes: speed on the three axes, mooring and navigation data. For installation on starboard or port fins, an optional display protection box with IP56 degree of protection is available.

MOORING ASSISTANCE AND SAFE NAVIGATION

DS-60 is able to provide a series of parameters related to the boat's speed. Speed can be measured relative to the ground or to the water by providing data from different directions (bow-stern or starboard-port). The leeway measurement capability is vital when docking large vessels or navigating narrow channels.

SMALL HULL DIMENSIONS FOR SIMPLE INSTALLATION

Compared to previous models, DS60 is equipped with a smaller unit on the hull which facilitates installation by reducing time. The compact high frequency transducer is capable of providing information from both a longitudinal (stern-bow) and transverse (starboard-port) reading of speed under the keel.
